Myself and 4 other friends had an AMAZING time on this boat tour. The captain Raul and his skipper Carlos were nothing but friendly, informative, and fun! We were able to bring our own food and wine on the tour and they offered us some Port wine which we HAD to have while in Porto. We sailed slowly in the Douro River while getting more details of the Portuguese culture and lifestyle. This was a once and a lifetime experience that I will remember forever. Raul also took many pictures for us on his nice camera and emailed them to me following the tour. TEN STARS!!!!!!!!

Raul was friendly and generous guy. Drinking porto and smooth sailing along the Porto City on River Douro. The view was amazing and good to see Porto from the river. Must do.

Es war ein ganz tolles Erlebnis auf Rauls Segelboot. Im Gegensatz zu den vollbepackten Touristenbooten hat man hier eine wunderschöne Atmosphäre, hört den Wind und das Wasser. Raul ist sehr nett und erzählt viele Details zur Stadt und Geschichte. Ich kann diese private Tour jedem empfehlen. So lernt man Porto auch mal von der entspannten Seite abseits der Touristenströme kennen.

I took this boat experience this afternoon and found it absolutely wonderful!
The dock is new and beautiful and the boat is also in very good condition and spotless clean.
Raul is very professional and also very nice. He explained a lot of the Porto traditions and story’s during our trip which does help me to know this city better. And he took wonderful pictures!
Really appreciated and would like to recommend to other travelers.

Wunderschöner Douro-Segelboottrip nach Porto - absolut empfehlenswert!

Wer Porto vom Wasser aus kennenlernen möchte, sollte unbedingt diesen Segelbootstrip buchen. Die zweistündige Tour startet im Hafen in der Nähe der Douro-Mündung. Von dort geht es flussaufwärts bis zur Altstadt von Porto. Zunächst mit Motorkraft, aber dann hisste unser Skipper Raul auch die Segel. Die Aussicht auf Porto und das Umland ist aus dieser Perspektive einfach nur grossartig! Wir waren 5 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder, und alle haben die Tour einfach nur genossen. Der Trip war superentspannt, ein unvergessliches Event!
Unser Gastgeber und Skipper Raul verdient eine ganz besondere Würdigung. So eine herzliche, freundliche und persönliche Begleitung findet man selten! Wir haben uns in kürzester Zeit sehr angeregt (auf englisch) unterhalten, dabei viel über Land und Leute erfahren, in entspannter Atmosphäre bei einer von ihm spendierten Runde Portwein (übrigens ein ganz ausgezeichneter Tropfen!).
By the way: Raul bietet per Airbnb in der Marina da Palmeira ein kleines Segelboot als Unterkunft an. Ja, es schaukelt ein kleinwenig. Aber daran gewöhnt man sich schnell. Drei Nächte haben wir dort insgesamt verbracht - so schön und originell! Wir wollten nicht mehr auschecken ...

Foi uma noite excelente, a subida do rio até ao local do fogo foi uma maravilha, as margens cheias de gente, os arraiais populares junto das margens, uma forma diferente e agradável de ver a festa.
Durante toda a viagem senti-me em segurança, era notório o profissionalismo e experiência de quem manobrava a embarcação.
E o momento do fogo-de-artifício, visto desta forma foi um momento mágico, para recordar.
